We believe writers deserve a real seat and a fair share when a story grows. We take on only a few stories at a time, because we would rather give a few stories everything than many stories a little.
GIVING STORIES ROOM TO GO THE DISTANCE
Too many brilliant concepts die in private drawers because the barrier between an idea and a published manga is steep, fragmented, and unforgiving. Writers struggle to find artists; artists struggle to find compelling, structured scripts; and both face commercial gates designed for established franchises.
Studio Gijutsu exists to build that bridge. We are building a catalogue of original manga worlds—stories that readers can fall into, think about, and cherish across years of reading.
THE THREE PILLARS
ORIGINAL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
We focus entirely on original creations. Every world, lore element, and protagonist is developed from a clean sheet of paper with its creators.
PATIENT DEVELOPMENT
Great stories cannot be rushed. We give narrative arcs the time, editorial back-and-forth, and structural testing they need before launch.
FUTURE AMBITIONS
Animation is a future ambition only. If a story is ever adapted, the writer's creative role and share will be agreed in writing in advance.
