We are an early-stage studio born from a deep love for manga storytelling, sequential visual art, and the belief that the next generation of great narratives deserves an open door.
WHO WE ARE
Studio Gijutsu is a manga development studio and a Teched Studios company that reads original stories and develops promising ones into full manga with artists. No upfront fees and no full rights taken: only production rights.
We are not a massive legacy publisher with hundreds of titles. We are deliberate, small, and unhurried. We take on only a few stories at a time, because we would rather give a few stories everything than many stories a little.
WHY WE DO THIS
Stories make people feel something, and we want those feelings to reach the world. We are a team of manga and anime fans.
We believe writers deserve a real seat and a fair share when a story grows. If we like a story and see the writer's spark, we develop it without any fee. We ask only for production rights and the protections necessary for studio production and distribution. The writer retains the majority of the rights to their story, and the majority share of the revenue is held by the writer.
ZERO FEES. MAJORITY RIGHTS AND REVENUE FOR WRITERS.
When we find a story with genuine potential, we invest our time and resources without asking the writer for any fee. We secure only production rights and the standard protections required to produce, adapt, and distribute the manga. The writer holds the majority of rights to their original story, and the majority share of all revenue is held by the writer. Every detail is set out in writing before any work begins.

We are fans first. We grew up on manga and anime, and we dream of making the kind of stories we wished existed, and of giving every story the treatment it deserves. That is why Studio Gijutsu exists.

Studio Gijutsu is a daughter company of Teched Studios. Through this relationship, the studio combines creative technology exploration with long-term digital media development.
